Enter the code from your TV
Your Apple TV is showing a short code beneath the QR code.
Connect your Google Calendar
This phone does the signing in. Your Apple TV never sees your Google password.
Pairing with
Read‑only access
We ask Google for one permission: calendar.readonly. It cannot change anything.
What your TV can read
- The names and colors of your calendars
- Each event's title, start and end time, whether it lasts all day, and its location
- Only the few weeks around today that the TV actually displays
What it can never do
- Create, edit, move or delete an event — read‑only means read‑only
- Open your email, contacts, photos or Drive files
- Read your event notes — those are left out unless you turn them on later
- Track you: this page has no analytics, no trackers and no third‑party code
Your calendar events are never stored on our server. They pass through only while your TV is drawing the screen. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the connection and revokes it at Google.
Google will show you exactly what you are approving before anything is shared.
Who gets a row?
Each row on the TV is a person or a bucket like “Family” or “School”.
These names are examples, not your family. Rename them, recolor them, delete the ones you do not need, and add your own.
Home & travel
Drive times and “leave by” countdowns are measured from here. Everything below is a default you can change later.
Units & week
Arrival buffers
How early you want to be there. The TV subtracts this, plus the drive time, to tell you when to leave.
Event notes
Off by default. Notes often hold phone numbers, door codes and medical details, and a TV in the kitchen is a public screen. Titles, times and locations are always sent.
Your Family Command Center is Ready
Look up. Your TV is already filling in.
What you set up
Keep this page bookmarked. Opening it again on the same phone lets you change calendars, people and buffers without touching the TV. Disconnecting from the TV's settings screen revokes access at Google and deletes the stored connection.
